Chalk Paint Basics ($95) - Studio - SOLD OUT

Sunday, February 21 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Just getting started painting furniture with Chalk Paint®? In this workshop we'll have fun with liberally painting, creating a smooth/modern finish, 2-color distress, and work with all 4 waxes. You should leave the workshop comfortable creating a hand-painted & waxed finish on your wood, laminate, or metal furniture.

So You Think You Can Wax ($50) - SOLD OUT

Saturday, February 20 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
Feel like your wax finish is tacky? Think you are good with clear wax but not the dark? Feel like you work too hard on wax? This workshop is designed to help you with all of your wax questions and challenges. It is about waxing ONLY. Learn to create a wax finish that is smooth, long-lasting, and water-resistant with a nice matte finish or a beautiful sheen.

Happy Hour - Hearts ($25)

Wednesday, February 10 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
The class will focus on using resin with Iron Orchid Design Mould and the Annie Sloan Chalk® Paint. Participants will first paint the heart with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, while that is drying participants will be creating a mould using resin and Iron Orchid Designs mould. Glue mould onto the painted surface, either paint over mould or let the resin finish stand out against the painted surface, then wax to seal in the great color and image.

IOD Impressions ($95)

Tuesday, February 16 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Using the Annie Sloan Chalk® Paint to paint a base color on an IOD Wood Panel Board that will serve as the base for the impression. Roll out a 1/8 inch thick of air dry clay, use the Kindest Regards stamp to create an impression onto rolled out clay. Use glue to attach clay to the wooden board, paint a few washes of color on impression. Continue using the air dry clay with the Iron Orchid Design moulds to add details and personal touches to board. Wax to seal in the final image.

Dry Brushing Technique ($95)

Tuesday, February 23 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Participants will be painting an ordinary cabinet door with Annie Sloan Chalk® Paint. Once participants reach full coverage, they will be using complimentary colors to practice dry brush techniques. Participants will then get the choice of whether they want it to be a sign or a tray.

IOD Pillow - 2 Day Workshop ($125)

Thursday, February 18 & Friday, February 19 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
The first day of class will focus on painting on a 24 square inch cream pillow in a stripe pattern with Annie Sloan Chalk® Paint. The second day of class will focus on applying an Iron Orchid Design transfer over the painted surface, then sealing the image with Annie Sloan Lacquer. Will be using a decoupage medium for the transfer to stick to the pillow.
